OKay I know I post rarely, (I’m tryna fix that),.. I’m just gonna share a few “wine hacks” every now and again.K?
So! Here I found a 2015 Canoe Ridge Vineyard Reserve Cabernet, Horse Heaven Hills APA made in Walla Walla, WA for $8 at Grocery Outlet, and a 2016 Hiras de Pirque Reserve Red Wine (Blend), a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, and 10% Cabernet Franc, from the infamous Maipo Valley in Chile.
At the “shank of the evening” I had (for a second glass) a blend of half and half. It shocked me as I thought I could easily be drinking 10or 11 year old second growth Pessac Léognan from a greater vintage!
That’s at $14 a magnum friends! 😉🍷
