Tomorrow is the last day of school. We want to extend our sincerest appreciation to all of our students, families and staff for the wonderful work they put in to help make this school year a memorable one. Thanks again and enjoy your summer!

Wonderful day for testing our students contraptions with the help of the Redmond WA Fire Department! The excitement was palpable and many were happily surprised to see their eggs intact! This year, all students participated in their classrooms with donated materials. Thank you for making this activity a success!

The Lost and Found is overflowing!
As the weather starts to warm up kids start to leave their jackets on the playground as kids do. Please encourage your students to check for their coats, water bottles, and lunch boxes. That stuff is expensive! Come and check for things you recognize if you are on campus.
Anything that is not collected by the last day of school will be donated.

Thank you for your generous donations of partially used materials. Students worked on their contraptions this week and the Egg Drop challenge will be held next Tuesday, June 11th!

The Egg Drop Challenge is coming up on Tuesday, June 11th! This is a super fun STEM activity and this year we are making the contraptions in class so every kid has a chance to participate. This will be different from past years.
We will need volunteers:
1) to go to classes the week of June 3-7 and June 10 to help the kids design and build their contraptions.

2) on June 11th from 9:30-11:30 to check the contraptions after Mr. Ren launches them from 100 above the playground from the basket of a Redmond Firetruck.

Tomorrow, May 24 is a half day for students. It was previously a non-student LEAP Day, but now it is a half day of school for students to make up for snow days earlier in the school year. Find your school hours here: bit.ly/LWSDHalfDays
Schools will be closed on Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day. Schools will re-open on Tuesday, May 28 for a full day of school.

Your Einstein Elementary PTSA in coordination with many volunteers and our students have events planned for each day of the week. We want to thank our teachers and staff for everything they do for our students:
Monday: Notes of appreciation for teachers and staff from parents and students.
Tuesday: Brunch for all staff in the teachers lounge.
Wednesday: Wear your teacher's favorite color to school.
Thursday: Lunch will be delivered for all staff
Friday: Shower the teachers with flowers! Bring a flower or buy one before school for $1 at the flagpole.
