Looking to spice up your morning routine? Wanting to add some more wellness into your early hours? I like to change it up every once in a while too!
Here are my top 3 things I’m loving right now! ☺️
1. I know you’re probably tired of hearing “don’t look at your phone for x-amount of minutes after you wake up”…but have you ever considered grabbing a blanket, lighting a candle or putting on a fire, and getting lost in a book? It’s become a morning ritual for me that I look forward to when I put my head on the pillow.
2. In addition to the above, before I even sit down, I make myself a cup of warm lemon water. This helps wake up the metabolism and digestive tracts! There are many more benefits but it’s nice to sip on something other than tea or coffee bright and early. Adding a little fresh grated ginger is always a nice touch!
3. After I finish reading my chapters for the day, and finish my cup of warm lemon water, and the sun has come up to start the day, I make my way outside for some fresh air and sunlight! Nothing feels better on a chilly morning than the warmth of the sun!

Did you know that there are props to use during Pilates? That's right! It's not just about stability of the mat, or different movements on a reformer. There are many to choose from, but let's breakdown a few:
🤍 Pilates/Magic/Power Circle (aka Circle of death), is used to add more resistance to your exercises and movements. It can help activate isolated muscles more effectively. For example, when doing a leg focused exercise, we can use the ring to simultaneously active our arms!
🤍 Pilates Ball is looked at as a gentle resistance prop. It's used for inner thigh activation, core focus, and alignment for proper form and posture.
🤍 Lightweight Dumbbells are like an added spice to your movements! When you want to level up a certain movement, the added weight gives you the burn you crave! It also aids in cognitive connection to your form.
All these props aid in the mind-body connection! They mindfully integrate to your body for support and an added challenge during your exercise! Which one is your favorite?! 🤔 Or should we say, which one is just the absolute worst? 🫣🤭
