Who do we serve?
We provide assistance to families and children during the critical phase of a medical crisis. That includes NICU, oncology, organ transplants, children with life-threatening mental health challenges and much more.

We are committed to helping families with essentials.

That includes providing clothing, strollers and cribs, activity bags, books, toiletry items and even toys!

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!

But There With Care stands by families battling childhood cancer all year long.

When Gabriella was diagnosed with leukemia, we were able to help her family with easy-to-make meals, toys, and transportation assistance.

We LOVE our volunteers.

Here volunteer Brenda is on her way with a grocery delivery, including a birthday cake!

Grocery delivery is one of the many ways that we offer food assistance. We also provide families with Easy Meal Care Bags, restaurant gift cards, and Uber Eats gift cards.

Transportation is absolutely crucial for families facing critical illness.

Providing transportation assistance to families in need ensures safe and reliable access to treatments, school, activities, and hospital visits. By providing support like gas cards and ride-sharing gift cards, we make a difference in their journey.

And Loop Neighborhood Market is helping make that possible! During the month of July they are donating 1% of sales to help There With Care's transportation assistance program.

"How does wrapping paper help families facing a medical crisis?"

It can be hard for families to find time to plan celebrations like birthday parties while facing a medical crisis. That's where we come in with our birthday party in a bag. Every child deserves to be celebrated on their birthday and we love making that easier for their families.

Some of the many ways that we support our families include providing them with essentials like toiletries, cleaning supplies, and groceries. Our groceries arrive in hand-decorated bags, to ensure that our families feel the love and care that goes into each care package. This dedicated group of volunteers from Google assembled 50 family toiletry bags and created 22 beautiful grocery bags. We are so grateful for their time and care.

Recently, families from the Portola Valley School District - PVSD group, PVSD Cares, donated items and then came together to make cards and assemble beautiful Mother’s Day bags for the mothers in our care. We started sending them out in care packages last week and they have been so appreciated.

“Good morning. I just want to thank you for the groceries, the gas card and especially the Mother’s Day gift basket—it was very thoughtful and much appreciated," shared the mother of a 16-year-old cancer patient.

We loved having Conscience Bay Company visit our Boulder office earlier this month! ❤️ They learned more about our mission, got a warehouse tour, and assembled 100 Easy Meal Care Bags for There With Care families. They do so much to support our mission, and we were so grateful to be able to get spend time with them. We're excited to have been selected as one of the beneficiaries of their Summer series event on July 27th!

Raeghan was born at 30 weeks and required surgery when she was just 4 days old. In the past few months she's had additional procedures, including heart and liver surgeries. Amazed by her strength and resilience, Michelle shares that her baby girl is an absolute blessing and miracle.

For the past three months, There With Care volunteers have delivered care packages of food and everyday items to help make their hospital stay as comfortable as possible. Raeghan still has some milestones to reach before she can go home, but the family is hopeful and overflowing with gratitude for the support they have received from our amazing volunteer community. ❤️
