If you’re looking for a good puppy this is a great breeding. 🐾❤️ We trained Lila’s sister and what a pleasure she was with her basics and still to this day. She’s been coming back every year to run hunt test. She’s also an amazing hunting dog. Great temperament and train ability. All around great dog.

Hey guys! This is Clyde, a 3yr old Shepherd/Dobie mix who is and has been looking for his forever home.
This guy spent the 1st year of his life with a seemingly wonderful family who went hiking and camping with him often, but decided to leave him in the night drop box at the Riverside Shelter because they were expecting a baby and had no time with him. He was set to be euthanized and was pulled by a rescue the day of. After being adopted out to a new person who took him everywhere with him, he was returned just a year later because the adopter stated that he was showing aggressive tendencies towards the new roommate although we all believe he just didn’t want him anymore and sadly Clyde ended up in the same position as before. We have not experienced any sort of aggression whatsoever since he’s been with us so it leads us to think that the adopter just didn’t want him anymore.
Clyde was then transferred to us here at Silver State Kennel in Reno, NV from Furry Flights Of Freedom for boarding until placement was found.
Unfortunately the rescue has had no luck finding him a home and he has been with us since January.
Clyde is such a good dog with a good heart, but needs out of this kennel setting seeing to continue to thrive and flourish even more. He has also been through our entire 6 week training program so he has the obedience and fundamentals to be a wonderful obedient companion. He really is a good dog and deserves to find a family that will love him and include him on all their adventures.
Clyde would do best in an only dog home or with an older and calmer female. We are not 100% sure about how he is with cats, but he seems to ignore the kennel cats we have here.
If you are interested in Clyde please message me and we can set up a meet and greet and if still interested can provide an adoption application that we will then send over to the rescue, Furry Flights Of Freedom.
All meet and greets will be done here at the kennel seeing as that is where he resides. Adoption is contingent on a rehoming fee and home check.
He is neutered and up to date on shots.
Please share and help this good boy find a forever home because he deserves it!

Missed one on my last post. Congrats to Sue Collins and Walker with their first Senior pass at Marin Retriever Club Hunt Test.

Great weekend for our group at Marin Retriever Club Hunt Test. Teal and I got another Master pass towards Nationals. Roxy and I got her 1st Master pass. Judy Drum and Maisie got another Master pass. Debbie Carmicheal got a Senior pass with each of her dogs Zak and Winston. Bob Seitzler and Bolt got their first Senior pass. Lynn Devine and Parker got 2 more Junior passes. Rey got her first 2 Junior passes.
