Registration is open for Minneapolis Parks & Recreation "Open Water Swim Club"! Looks like they will have times for both Lake Nokomis and Cedar Lake this summer. This is for adults ages 18 & over only. It is always fun to get out on the lake and swim.

After last summer's COVID-related hiatus, we are looking forward to a summer of fun in the sun at the Richfield outdoor pool, but we need your help. We are looking for some responsible young adults to fill our lifeguarding positions. To make sure they are adequately trained, we are offering a blended learning lifeguard class, in conjunction with community education, during Richfield Public Schools’ spring break. The class is held from March 29 through April 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Middle School Pool.

We need Announcers, clean-up and check-in help, meet marshalls (to keep things running smoothly), a few timers, and someone to live-stream each meet for fans at home. It’s a frozen week...come join us on the warm RMS pool deck!

The HS boys meet has been moved from Tuesday, January 19 to Thursday, January 21. We will now have practice on Tuesday evening and NOT have practice on Thursday evening this week. Changes can be found on your training group's practice calendar. Thanks for being flexible!

We have a new logo! And some new swag! Orders are due by November 1 and will be fulfilled by December 1, just in time for the holiday season. Can't wait to see our team in some new gear!! Go Piranhas!

Maddie has been an awesome coach for AG2 over the last 2 years! She is heading back to school this Fall at the UofM to earn her master's degree and get ready for med school; she will be stepping down from her lead role. Although we still expect to see her once in a while
Maddie is a lifelong Piranha having swum for the Piranhas and then coaching after her academic and athletic career at the University of Vermont.
It took a while to get a picture of Maddie this morning as she kept escaping. But we got one good one and a trio of some solid poses (check the IG) that I know she'll enjoy. Thanks for being a great coach and an amazing role model to our youngsters, Maddie Blumenfeld! You will be missed.

Yesterday, for our weekly team activity, the Piranhas rode around the Chain of Lakes! We had great riding conditions and minimal crowds.
