Time to get ready for our R-STEM PTO Winter Movie Night! We'll be showing The Super Mario Bros. Movie on Friday, January 19 in the R-STEM cafeteria. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the movie will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. Snacks will be available to purchase with cash only. You can bring chairs, blankets, pillows or something else to make your movie viewing experience more comfortable!

***All students must be accompanied by an adult caregiver during this event. We ask that all attendees (both students and adults) be courteous and respectful of the people around them during the movie. This means no running around, no horseplay, no screaming or loud voices, etc. Caregivers are asked to make sure your student(s) are following these expectations. Students or families who are not following these expectations may be asked to leave.

The first Junta Latina meeting will be on Friday, January 19th from 7:30 to 8:30 am in the STEM community room.

The mission of the Junta Latina is to strengthen the connection between the school and our homes with the goal of creating a community among STEM Latino families.

Our first meeting will be a time for us to get to know each other, learn what educational workshops you would like to see, and build community over coffee and bagels.

We hope to see you there!

School Bus Information If your child rides the school bus, we invite you to sign up for Ride 360. This app provides real-time mapping for your child’s school bus location and easy access to information like their bus number, bus stop location and bus stop time.

As you figure out how your child will get to and from school this year, don’t forget that we installed a brand new bike rack behind the building (near the playground) for all cycling Sparks to use! It’s a safe spot to park your ride during the school day. Reach out to our front desk staff if you have any questions about biking to school!

Have you made your Walk-a-Thon donation yet?

We're just two days away from the annual R-STEM Walk-a-Thon! On Friday, May 19, students will walk one mile - or two laps around the school block - to raise enough money so every student can take home two books for summer reading!

We are also looking for volunteers to help prep for the walk-a-thon path the evening before and the morning of the event, to work at stations along the route the day of the event, and to take down after the event.
