WERNLE
Wernle Children’s Home has provided a home for children since 1879. Founded by Lutheran Churches in Indiana, Ohio and surrounding states as a home for “ orphaned and forsaken children, “ Wernle has, over the years, served the needs of thousands of boys and girls. This “institution of mercy” has stood as a response of Christ’s people to His command, “ as you have done it for these little ones, you have done it for me.” By the grace of God and the support of God’s people, Wernle continues its ministry of love and care.
