Completing the Trail by foot is daunting enough but Robin is doing all 51.7 miles wearing a prosthetic blade!

Join me as I take on The Hawthorne Cancer Foundation's Virginia Capital Trail Challenge starting Sunday April 7, 20024 walking from Jamestown to Richmond raising funds to help local cancer patients with their day to day struggles. Participants will learn about a cancer fighting diet with a specific focus on the benefits of pulses (or beans). Then, local Richmond Chef, Tom Parfitt, will demonstrate new and tasty ways to prepare and incorporate pulses in your daily diet. The cooking demonstration will include useful information, demonstration of basic cooking skills, take home recipes, and a sample of the delicious dishes. Registration is required.
