🌟🎓 We are thrilled to introduce the fourth of our outstanding commencement speakers, Stephanie Medina!🌟🎓

📚 Stephanie is a Mexican-American first-generation student with a deep passion for art and pop culture. A member of the ADM department and the CTE program, she will soon graduate with an Associate in Graphic Design and two certificates.

🌟 Stephanie's college journey began at the onset of the pandemic, which confined most of her experiences to a computer screen. Despite the challenges, she persevered, taking 1-2 classes per semester. After a challenging 2020, returning to on-campus courses in her final year transformed her experience.

🎓 Supported by her family, Stephanie is motivated to pursue a career in art and further her education with a Bachelor’s degree. She enjoys crocheting, collecting stickers and pins, drawing, and watching movies with friends and family. Her inspiration comes from pop culture and the people around her.

📚 Cristian Castellanos embodies resilience and determination, making a significant impact as a first-generation college student. He thrived at RCC, actively participating in organizations like the Associated Students of Riverside City College.

🌟 Focusing on Kinesiology, Cristian will transfer to California State University, Fullerton, this fall to pursue a career as a Kinesiologist. Faculty mentorship at RCC was pivotal in guiding him towards his goals.

📚 Genaveve is a passionate and accomplished student dedicated to self-improvement. At RCC, she excelled academically and actively participated in organizations like the Alpha Gamma Sigma Honors Society.

🌟 Graduating at the top of her class with degrees in communications, humanities, philosophy, and social and behavioral studies, Genaveve is transferring to Cal State Fullerton to become a Communication Studies professor.

🌟 Passionate about making a positive impact, Laura dreams of becoming a professional child therapist to support K-12 students. Her next chapter takes her to Cal State Fullerton to pursue a degree in psychology with a minor in education.

Our recent adult ed tours at RCC were an absolute hit! 🚗✨ Starting off with a warm embrace from Dr. Adrienne Grayson and Dr. Shari Yates, our friends from Automotive Program dove headfirst into the world of CTE automotive programs guided by the incredible Timothy Corathers. 🛠️ But the fun didn't stop there!
