Divi9 PostOp
PostOp, medical massage. Specializing in post-op manual lymphatic drainage.
The client experience takes center stage. It’s important from beginning to end.
She’s so back to work that I haven’t seen her in a little. I need pics my love if you’re reading this 🫶🏾 you look fantastic btw.
This process was not a walk in the park for her. She hated me every session and loved me every session.
Week one we focused solely on inflammation and bruising week two we started working on releasing tension from the fascia as the scar tissue builds to ensure she had great mobility.
Also did a deeper/ firmer effleurage to the abdomen, back and arms. Oh boy, the arms is when she really didn’t like me. Her sides were constantly sore. Very inflamed. I did a lot of skin stretch and hold there. Progressing to Graston.
As soon and I mean as soon as her drain was out I had her change compression methods. From binder to faja.
Every client is different. How do I decide what to do? I listen, I observe and I know my instruments which my hands are the mother instrument. I build each session from there.
Always always beginning with the lymphatic system and ending with the lymphatic system. Sometimes working with the superficial system, always, always working with the deep.

Booking is a breeze! A 45-minute session is ideal for busy , , and heads of households.
I started working with this client in March 2023. The left photo was taken in September, reflecting some initial progress. Our aim was not only to achieve progress but also to sustain it. To support this goal, I invested in another course.
The right picture illustrates the visible progress, but what it doesn’t capture is the ongoing improvement in her quality of life. Now able to bend her knee, she experiences reduced inflammation for hours after waking.
Not evident in the photo is her enthusiasm for pulling out the stationary bike, getting closer to hopping on! She’s eager to practice for upcoming bike rides in states she has yet to explore.
Changing my brand identity never felt so right!

I find the gut to be so interesting.
In a more detailed session with this client, we incorporate a comprehensive full-body "brushing" technique that specifically targets key lymph nodes at common "choke" points. This intricate approach aims to optimize the overall experience and effectiveness of the session.
You want to know the one question I always ask?
Brace yourself...
"When was your last visit to the porcelain throne?" If it's been more than three days, we've got to take action pronto! I'll get the gears turning by tapping into the deep lymphatics and a bit of viceral manipulation. Let's make sure that system is running smoothly!
Let’s avoid that trip to the emergency room and take the stool softeners!
