Open House Wednesday on the Calkins Rd Improvement Project! Show up and voice support for road diets (we prefer calling them “road buffets” since they give residents more options 😉), dedicated bike infrastructure and calmer traffic conditions so all can be safer. In the County’s Active Transportation Plan, Calkins is recommended being made bike-friendly.

See how candidates weigh in on bikeability and complete streets!

Early voting starts TOMORROW Saturday, October 26th! The purpose is not to endorse any candidate but to give each of them a chance to share their ideas for a well-connected and accessible community. Read here and please make a plan to VOTE! https://reconnectrochester.org/2024/10/2024-candidates-mobility/

Also please take a minute to thank candidates who filled out their questionnaire to show them that this matters to voters.

Have you seen the buffered bike lanes installed on Brighton Henrietta Town Line Road between ~ Clay Road and the Lehigh Valley Trail? (There's a significant gap going through West Henrietta Road. County DOT couldn't continue the bike lanes through NYSDOT-controlled intersections).

NYSDOT Region 4 must make Browncroft bike-friendly.
