Job Specifications:

2+ years experience working within a residential or commercial construction environments. Experienced in rough and finished carpentry and project finishing work. Lead Carpenter will oversee internal carpenters and laborers and interface regularly with Superintendents and Managers, clients, and sub-contractors.

General construction experience in a primarily carpentry facing environment including, but not limited to framing, dry wall finishing, trim, doors, cabinet and door hardware, and casements – is preferred.

Physical requirements include lifting, climbing, kneeling, working on ladders and mechanical lifts, and scaffolding.

Safety equipment & specialty tools will be provided as needed.

Technology skills are a plus, but not required.

• Responsible for supervising laborers.
• Desire to learn and understand blueprints, specifications, drawings, and statements of work.

Job Specifications:

2+ years superintendent experience working within a multi-story large scale residential, multi-family, or commercial construction and renovation environments. Experience in directing internal carpentry employees and the various sub-contractor trades required for residential and commercial new construction and renovation projects.

Must be proficient in maintaining project schedules and logs, coordinating project deliveries, scheduling employees and sub-contractors, and supporting the Project Manager with day to day activities. Must have a sufficient understanding of job-site safety requirements and ability to enforce and monitor existing and new requirements as communicated by Project Management.

Technology skills are a plus, but not required.

• Responsible for supervising the full range of rough and finished carpentry work.
• Ability to understand blueprints, specifications, drawings, and statements of work.
• Ability to inspect and verify completed work, including work done by outside contractors, for conformance with specifications, requirements, and compliance with applicable building and safety codes and regulations.
