We love offering community opportunities for our CAS families! Two no-cost family gatherings are planned in the upcoming months. One will be held in Apex, NC on June 1st and a second gathering will be held on August 3rd in Matthews NC. Whether you've received placement yet or not, come and celebrate all the little ones that have joined our CAS family! We are TWO weeks away from our Charlotte family picnic! These events are fun and casual opportunities for our adoptive families to visit and play together, and we are excited to be getting together in April to enjoy some cooler spring weather. There is no cost to attend, lunch is provided, and we will have some fun group activities planned. What does it mean for Christian Adoption Services to be a LICENSED adoption agency? It means there is oversight in all we do. It begins with hiring social work staff members with degrees, credentials, experience, a requirement to meet 24 training hours annually, and passion from all those who serve at the agency. Every member of our team is important in this ministry. Our entire staff works tirelessly to keep the state’s standards of great record keeping, and home studies that go beyond the standards and services that not only please the states we are licensed in but ultimately our goal to please our Lord and Savior.

Please join us in celebrating our recent North Carolina and South Carolina state reviews with no “Plan of Correction” needed. In a review, random files are chosen to audit by our state consultants. We are proud and grateful to be a LICENSED agency with the privilege of helping birthmothers make a personalized adoption plan and the ability to assess, train, equip, and approve families for adopting a child(ren) into their home. We don’t take this task lightly.

While many expectant mothers make an adoption plan for their baby during pregnancy, others choose adoption after birth. For over 40 years, Christian Adoption Services has helped women in difficult situations with newborn, infant and toddler adoption plans. We have approved families ready and waiting to adopt.

If at any point after delivery you find that you are struggling, and feel adoption may be best for your child, please do not hesitate to call, text or email- we can answer any questions you might have about the process and connect you with other women who have made adoption plans for their children. We are excited that our monthly no-cost, virtual support group meeting for our amazing birth mothers is tomorrow, June 13, beginning at 9pm!

We have a quick and easy registration available right on your phone! Moms can be in any stage of post-placement, and this is a great way to connect and be encouraged by an entire community of birth moms. If you have placed a child for adoption through CAS, please join us!

DONATIONS NEEDED! Christian Adoption Services is accepting donations of formula for the families we are serving. In addition to all types of infant formula, we are aware of several families in need of special formulas for older children fed through g-tubes. If you have any formula you do not intend to use, please drop it off during normal business hours at Christian Adoption Services' main office, 7884 Idlewild Road, Indian Trail, North Carolina. If this location is not convenient, please call 704-847-0038 for possible other drop-off locations throughout NC and SC. We will be sure to get your donated formula to babies and children in need!

The love that a birth mother has for her child is pure and selfless. She loves her child enough to put their needs above her own wants and desires. There are many things that change when a woman signs relinquishment papers, but her love for her child is not one of them.

A NICU Baby Gives Hope to a Waiting Family How a NICU team joined forces with social workers and an adoption agency to introduce a baby to her new family on Mother’s Day.

The Birth Mothers Retreat is around the corner! At CAS, we truly believe that our birth moms are some of the bravest and genuinely courageous women we know! This life-changing weekend allows birth moms who have placed their child with CAS to gather together with other women to help share the journey. It is our goal at CAS to make sure that our birth moms are loved and cared for long after their child is placed into a Christian home. This weekend is absolutely free for each birth mom so we are truly grateful for those who partner with us to make this weekend financially possible. Each family anxiously awaits the day when they can bring their child home. Welcoming a child to a home fills them with incredible joy, security, and endless love. We pray every day for the children that are currently waiting for families. Our prayer at CAS is that the children in the Philippines and the Czech Republic waiting for families will get to experience this kind of welcome.

We are honored to be able to hear from Carly, Domestic Adoption Coordinator. We are forever thankful for the hearts of our Domestic Adoption Coordinators, and the selfless love they give each day to their jobs and towards the people they get to serve.
