Our students are voting experts! Ms. Cohen’s kindergarten class and Mrs. Bettini’s second graders filled out voter registration cards, talked about poll prediction, stood in line at a polling center, voted, graphed the results, and colored in the winner of their favorite candy (Kit Kats for the win!).

We can’t wait to see what these future leaders do next!

At the end of every rainbow is the promise of hope and joy. It is fitting that just before our All Saints’ Day Mass, we received this beautiful reminder of faith and community. Together we have our pot of gold!

Madame Mauro’s eighth grade French class really hit the mark with their performance of “Petit Chaperon Rouge”! The students’ dramatic flair and impeccable pronunciation brought new life to an age old tale. It’s wonderful to see students engaging so passionately with the French language.🐺👵🏻🧣

Mrs. Ewachiw’s 7th grade Spanish class took advantage of the nice weather to practice their Spanish verb conjugations outdoors. Students had a great time playing “Piedra, Papel, Tijeras” (rock, paper, scissors). 🪨📝✂️

In Ms. Demczak’s 2nd grade class this week, students were asked to demonstrate their geographical skills and show off their creativity by designing a map. Each student collaborated to come up with ideas for their own map. Students placed a treasure in their map and wrote directions using a compass rose and sequencing to help us find their treasure. We loved seeing the imagination and enthusiasm they brought to this project!

Fire trucks visited St. E’s giving students an exciting opportunity to learn about these vital emergency vehicles. Firefighters guided children through the various parts of the truck, explaining the equipment used to fight fires and rescue people. Students eagerly explored the hoses and ladders gaining a hands-on understanding of the important work firefighters do in our community! 🚒👩‍🚒
