After a great week of training, Chapa’s Boxing’s own, Matt Moore, closed it out with an intense interval workout in Rockwall today. We are grateful for his dedication and thankful for all his supporters and sponsors.

Matt has been preparing for the Texas State Golden Gloves Championships on March 13th - 16th. A Texas State Golden Gloves title will earn Matt a spot on the 2024 National Golden Gloves team.

New Boxing Challenge!

RISE UP Boxing League is seeking beginner boxers in the Rockwall area to compete in a local tournament. Registration is now open for males and females aged 13 and up. An 8-week training camp is required prior to the competition.

Chapa's Boxing Gym is proud to announce a new Beginners-Only Boxing League coming to Rockwall and the surrounding communities.

RISE UP Boxing League is now forming teams to begin an eight (8) week training camp and ending with a competitive amateur boxing tournament. No previous boxing experience required.

Chapa’s Boxing Gym would like to congratulate Matt Moore and Philip Lockhart for winning the 2024 Dallas Golden Gloves Championships!

Matt Moore won the Men’s Elite 147 lbs. weight division and Philip “Scooter” Lockhart won the Senior Male Novice 132 lbs. weight division.

We would like to give a special thanks to all sponsors (David Bishop and TJ Hood) and all supporters. We appreciate the in person support of Gary Combs, Bryan and Pablo Dominguez. This is the 1st Dallas Golden Gloves titles for our gym in a short amount of time of being open.

Much love to our coaches, Quincy Taylor, Adrian Ramos, Marcus Broughton and Richard Rodriguez. We appreciate your time and dedication with our team. God has blessed our gym with many opportunities. Great things on the way!

Chapa’s Boxing had a great night! We had a special guest tonight. Rockwall Heath High School Quarterback, Landen Dutka, stopped in to visit and watch some sparring. We had a chance to get some great pics with Quincy Taylor and his original WBC Middleweight title belt.

Jaycob “Raging Bull” Ramos made an appearance today at the Team Combat League training facility in Allen, Texas. We are excited for 2024 and the many opportunities that are ahead for Jaycob’s career.
