HBC Rome Students
At HBC Rome students, our goal is to enable young people to understand and recognize who God is and what it means to live for Him.
COLLIDE 2024 was groundbreaking, earthquaking, and Rome-SHAKING! 🔥
We pray God continues to do a mighty work in the youth of Floyd County.
What a remarkable privilege it is to serve God!
Not only were we able to represent the student ministry and but we were able to represent what it is like to be Christ as we serve and have fellowship with God’s children.
Until next time…
The church is a place where we all come together to worship God as one body.
We’d love to have you at our Wednesday Midweek service. Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
“In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.”

Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸
Save the date! 🔥
Here are some upcoming dates to remember!
This week, we will be having our movie night. The movie will start at 6:00!
When was the last time you loved yourself like God loves you? When was the last time you lived like you knew that you were valuable? When was the last time you lived like you’re loved, like you’ve been set free?
When we start seeing ourselves the way Christ sees us, others may begin to see us in that light too. If we are secure in our identity in Christ, then our life will start to reveal that. Our speech and actions will start expressing the love and security that we have found in Him.
I love the motto of the identity theft prevention company, LifeLock — “You only have one identity…” Yes, you do, and it is found only in Christ. Stop looking for your identity in the world and start finding it in Him, because it is only in Him where your true identity resides.
You are a child of the one true King. You are loved, and treasured beyond what words can describe.
You are worth celebrating.
You are special.
You are loved.
You are unique.
This is who you are…
The religious authorities are convinced that Jesus is a sinner because he heals on the Sabbath. From the perspective of John’s Gospel, however, unbelief is the fundamental sin; it is rejection of the One sent by God. When Jesus meets the healed man in the temple, he tells him, “See, you have been made well! Do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you” (John 5:14).
The “sin” that Jesus refers to is the sin of unbelief. There are worse things than being reproached by religious authorities for breaking the Sabbath. If the man persists in his unbelief and indifference to Jesus, he risks incurring the judgment of God, which matters far more than that of the religious authorities.
STARTING TONIGHT!
We can’t wait to see you @ 6:30!
We love you, Pastor David!!!❤️
