This assignment, made with thoughtful prayer and discernment, underscores the Global Methodist Church’s dedication to the church’s mission: "To make disciples of Jesus Christ and spread scriptural holiness across the globe."

Grace Point Rome ladies joined Trinity by the River and Lindale GMC ladies to visit Murphy Harpst in Cedartown, Ga. We were invited to tour the horse barn and given information about the equine therapy program. Afterwards we were treated to a delicious lunch provided by the cafeteria staff. It was delicious! Thank you Murphy Harpst for all that you are doing to support our marginalized youth in the name of Jesus.

Grace Point Rome celebrated Pastor Appreciation Month by gathering to break bread together and a time of great fellowship! Thank you to our Pastor, Steve Alred.

You cannot work out only when you feel like it and hope to be fit.

You cannot go to school only when you feel like it and hope to be educated.

You cannot come home once in a while and have a functioning family.

You cannot go to work only on days that you are in the mood and have a successful career.

In the same way, you cannot go to church just when you feel like it and be a successful disciple of Christ.

Church has a purpose, and we will never get to where God is calling us if we don’t live into that purpose with intentionality and passion.
In a world where everything is out of sorts and vying to confuse and disorient us, we need an anchor that keeps us grounded in truth. We need a place that reminds us of our ultimate priorities and our mission.

Bottom line, you cannot get there without Church!
