Today's Memory Monday comes from one of our incredible RNs, Denise! Our team has a commitment to the care of our patients and community. Caring is just what we do.
Denise had the opportunity to work in a hospice care agency in Romania during a mission trip and Aberdeen Place was able to offer them training materials and equipment to aid in their care. It was an honor to partner with this sister hospice group.

Our team's support for patients and their families is what makes Aberdeen Place special.
Today's Memory Monday comes from our social workers, Becky! Many members of our team have stories of patients and their families who remember Aberdeen Place far beyond their care. They truly become family to us.
In addition to the work done by social workers for patients, their work also extends to their families.
Social workers can assist the families of patients preparing end-of-life treatment for their loved one by helping them to prepare treatment plans, as well to lessening the stress associated during that painful time. One goal of a social worker in the hospice setting is to be an ally and resource for families.
Well said, Matthew! Our team at Aberdeen Place Hospice always knows the perfect balance between providing top tier professionalism with love and care.
Today is International Women's Day and we are celebrating all the female caregivers who keep the healthcare industry going. Their impact on this industry is undeniable and we are so grateful for them going above and beyond in their work everyday.

Our Story
Aberdeen Place Hospice is named after the street our founders grew up on. Ours is a locally owned and operated hospice in Metro Atlanta that is patient centered and family focused – as our neighborhood values dictate. This “neighborhood community” is the philosophy and culture that guides us and our company. Caring, Compassionate, Consistent and Responsive hospice services.
We begin with the understanding that a quality, end-of-life journey is only possible if the hospice is patient focused and family centered. Our staff consists of hospice veterans, passionate about the patients and families they serve. The result is a locally owned and operated hospice providing the best care to patients and their families, a dramatic departure from many of today’s large corporate hospices.
