Today we celebrate National Medal of Honor Day, a day to honor the courage and sacrifice of those who have received the military's highest honor. The Medal of Honor recognizes those who risk their lives going above and beyond the call of duty on the battlefield. We thank the heroes who have been awarded the Medal of Honor for their service to our country.
