Don’t forget to look up and pay attention to the ceiling details when designing! We love how the details in this room add to the ambiance…and a good looking fan always helps! ​​​​​​​​

We love seeing the seasonal change happening in the yards we design. This front yard in particular had these gorgeous maples that we moved into new locations so that they could really show off their autumn colors! Walking to the front door past these beauties is always welcoming year around, but especially during pumpkin season! 🍁 🍁 🍁 ​​​​​​​​

A drought tolerant backyard space that feels like a get-away! We loved incorporating the custom Corten steel planters and beautiful Ipe deck to give ton of dimension and to bring in the Napa vibes that our clients were requesting. ​​​​​​​​

This was a complete overhaul of a space for a certain ultra-deserving woman and her family. This room was dark and paneled with maroon carpeting and we were able to bring in some serious California vibes to lighten it up. Most importantly, we created a home for a beautiful family to enjoy for years to come! Catch the entire transformation on HGTV’s show Build it Forward on Hulu, Discovery+, and HGTV! ​​​​​​​​

Success! 🙌🏻 I added these panels to our fridge and it is looking pretty darn sleek and beautiful! I am so happy with the material selections made for this renovation, the kitchen is the heart of the home and the modern updates have made a huge impact, not to mention much better functionality for my family and I. Happy St. Patrick’s Day from the Design by Misha head quarters! This green soapstone is to die for and quite possibly my favorite part of my personal kitchen remodel! It’s seriously so good…

These days, any hint of sunshine makes us more ready for Spring! This space really lets the sunlight in and the design brings such an airy quality ⛅️ Get me a coffee and a good book and leave me here! Light and airy has been the trend for a while and though we’re still on-board, we’ve been feeling the moody and colorful trends coming on strong on Instagram or magazines (yep, I still read them 😉)! What is your current fave trend?

Soft and textured is one of our favorite combos 😊️ This cozy color palette really adds the right warmth too, don’t you think? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We love finding just the right mix of textiles for our clients and we think they will love this combination 🤍

It’s the end of Week 3 of the One Room Challenge and we have some flooring to show off! This grout selection was just as important as the tile chosen, never forget the grout color makes a big impact😉

These renovations to my family’s home are certainly a labor of love ❤️ My husband and I even celebrated our 15 year anniversary during demo week, so romantic! 😉 but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Making this California Modern home feel like ours is what this journey is all about.

Demo week has begun! ✌️out to the retro 60’s finishes of our California Modern home! The of renovations for this Fall 2021 Official IG for the ORC] is underway and I can’t help but love seeing the blank slate before me!

Selected finish materials are coming in, possibly slower than I’d like due to shipping delays 😩 but I’m trying my best to appreciate this first step - out with the old!
