My new best friends! Chris and his crew are so great - hilarious, fun, but always professional and they get it done! Almost done with the kitchen on this one.

If you had told me a year ago that today I’d be living in the City of Trees, in a neighborhood I love more than Emeryville, self-employed as not only a Realtor but also a Project Director for Freemodel (my dream job renovating homes for sale), with 2 dogs … and this landscape (photos) is basically my commute most days - I’d say you were crazy!

It’s happening. And I’m loving it. And I’m hustling as hard as I can, and enjoying every minute of it. Bring it ON 2024!! I’m ready for you.

I’m loving my partnership with Freemodel! Every day, every project, every client is different and interesting. Which is why I love real estate as well.

But not always glamorous…. Today I was in El Dorado Hills - a ‘walk thru’ of a sweet Rancher that’s been in the family for 40 years. Trekking through the mud in the ‘back forty’, dodging the burn piles …. Waiting for Rip to ride up and sweep me off my feet. 😉 She needs some TLC but we’re going to bring her back to all her glory - and help the Owner get the highest possible price on the market!

I always give my projects/ homes a name. This one is ‘my little Yellowstone’ ☺️

One of the things I love about real estate (and this applies as a Realtor and also when working with Freemodel), we are privy to all kinds of things in the privacy of someones home ... some good, some, well .... interesting.

The other day, a PD at Freemodel and I were doing a walk-through of a house in Berkeley. Low and behold, an entire room is dedicated to the breeding of bearded dragons! Wild! And the homeowner casually says "oh they're all in cages, except for Freddy, who has escaped". Sure enough, we found him! 😳

Thank You Laura, and Freemodel, for a fabulous day yesterday of presenting and partying! We had a blast presenting to my old stomping grounds, KW in Oakland, and then a fabulous holiday party at The Shop design store in Granite Bay! (can I just move into this space please 😉).

I hesitated posting this after reading the article, because I DON'T agree with many of these suggestions.

Still love boucle` .... one womans "cluttercore" is another womans "maximalism" .... and bar carts are ALWAYS in style!

'Tis the season!!

Happy Halloween! It’s true … I’m not afraid of ghosts! 😉

So excited! I'm working on 3 proposals with Freemodel. All exciting listings, and all with great Agents and Sellers. You know how they say 'all things lead to where you are' ... I believe!

… what an AWESOME event that was today! Their first Women in Biz Summit. I had such a good time and met so many FABulous women! 6 hours of masterminds, networking, and panels of incredible and incredibly successful women in my new ‘hood! ❤️

I'm not a big Halloween person (not sure why - maybe because I lived on Trestle Glen for 15 years, and every Halloween it was a MAD house! Crazy times - eggs on windows, thousands of kids, barf on my steps in the morning... you get the picture 😉

But I know most people are .. so in celebration, I'm handing out my halloween goodies to friends, family and clients again this year.
