150 gathered for Confessio: A Retreat on the Lutheran Confessions. Ps. Will Weeden addressing the group around the topic of his book Thank, Praise, Serve, and Obey.

20 Nursing students from CSP's Portland and St Paul campuses traveled to Guatemala over spring break to perform health checks on kids in a local elementary school. The group completed vision, hearing, dental, vitals, and scoliosis checks on over 400 students. In addition to the health checks, the group participated in various cultural activities such as touring a women's center, a coffee program, and a local hospital. GoGoldenBears

Today we wrapped up a three-day seminar on the Gospel of John led by Dr. William Weinrich from Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne. Enriching and enlightening.

"For God so loved the world" (John 3:16) ... not only is this the perfect theme for CSP's academic year, but it's perfect for the day of Epiphany, reminding us that God's love is for everyone, everywhere.

"For God so loved the world" is Concordia St. Paul's theme of the year. This "why" is follwed by "how": "that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall have eternal life" (Jogn 3:16). A blessed Christmas to all!
