Both of our regular Thursday classes will be taught tomorrow! If you are celebrating the holiday in the afternoon or evening, you can start your day with Carlton's Beginning and Continuing class from 9:30-11:00am. If you are celebrating early, you can start your Thanksgiving recovery with Paul's Beginning & Continuing class from 6:00-7:30 pm. We are Very pleased to announce the return of Prenatal Yoga to The St. Paul Yoga Center! Beginning today, Sunday March 26th, Clare Welter will teach Prenatal Yoga from 9:00-10:00 am in our Selby Studio. This is a time change from what we originally announced (which was in the afternoon). Besides having 12 years of experience teaching prenatal yoga, Clare was a Certified Nurse Midwife for over 20 years. She brings a wealth of experience to this class! No worries if you can't join her today. Prenatal Yoga, like all of our classes, is taught on a drop-in basis. Start any time. Partners and doulas are welcome to attend! The cost is just $15 per class.

The 7-week meditation course with David Schmit begins tonight (7:30-9:00pm) in our Corner Studio. There is a discount for taking the full series, but drop-ins are also welcome! This is the first time we've offered a series on meditation like this as part of our commitment to making the full benefits of yoga available. Please join us!
Our Introduction to Yoga 6-week series will begin on Sept. 27th for the first time since the pandemic began! We're excited to offer this again, since it is a great way to get started in yoga. It's also an excellent opportunity for folks who want to fill in some gaps in their understanding of yoga fundamentals or simply do a refresher course to get them on a good track. Classes are 75 minutes and will run from 5:30-6:45. Sept. 27-Nov. 1. The full course is $72. Drop-ins are $15. Make-up classes are available for those who register for the full course. We aim to offer the most complete, effective non-gimmicky yoga that we can in order to help you experience the fullest benefits of yoga that you can. We all want some intentional distraction at the right times and places, but our yoga can actually help us become less distracted and more present. All of our Saturday classes and two of our three Sunday classes (Restorative Yoga and Yoga for Strength and Flexibility) will be taught this weekend! On Monday there will be a Beginning & Continuing level class taught from 10:00-11:30 and a Continuing level class will be taught early evening from 5:40-7:10. Enjoying yoga is a great way to celebrate Independence Day weekend! The ultimate goal of yoga is liberation! We also just had a new air conditioner installed in our Selby Studio, and it works great! Both of our studios can be comfortable even on the hottest days. Please join us whenever you can. 🙏

At St. Paul Yoga Center, we don't teach classes. We teach people. Guided by yoga's tenets of nonviolence, truth, compassion, awareness, tolerance, and integrity, we're passionate about sharing our love for this practice with others. In every class, we prioritize individual needs and safety above all else. Wherever you are in your practice, you can trust our instructors, including five certified Iyengar yoga teachers, will help you achieve your wellness goals. And with over 280 years of combined yoga teaching experience, they can offer a diverse range of yoga and teaching styles, too. So come experience all the benefits that yoga has to offer.
