Recently, our leadership team toured our properties in Arizona: Copa Flats in Maricopa and Agave House in Casa Grande. Copa Flats was a big accomplishment for Real Estate Equities as it was our first development and successful lease-up in Arizona.

This visit provided valuable opportunities for our leaders to connect with our team on the ground, gain insights into our operations, and engage with our employees firsthand. We extend our gratitude to the Copa Flats Team who played a big part in the success of the lease-up and look forward to opening our doors at Agave House in August 2024.

We are excited to announce that our newest affordable housing project, Agave House, is now leasing!

Located in sunny Casa Grande, AZ Agave House is comprised of 216 units where residents can choose from an array of 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom affordable apartments. With move-in dates anticipated for August 2024, the community will soon be able to enjoy this brand-new community.

Our partnership with Esusu keeps delivering! 3,757 residents are now reporting positive rental payment histories while 67% have increased their credit scores by an average of 38 points. Notably, 9% have transitioned from subprime to prime credit, reducing borrowing costs for our residents. We are excited to continue empowering financial futures with Esusu!

NEW PROJECT GROUNDBREAKING!
Decatur Landing will be an exceptional addition to the Brooklyn Park community. Featured in this expansive project will be 175 units of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments as well as a fitness area, clubroom, outdoor play area with grill stations, and an impressive two-story underground parking structure.
The Big-D Team kicked off phase one of this project in December 2023 and will be completed next summer. We are honored to be partnering with our client, Real Estate Equities on another great project.

We’re thrilled to share an update on our partnership with Esusu! Since our launch in October, the impact has been truly remarkable:

-We’ve established 457 new credit scores!

-Currently, 3,339 residents are reporting their scores.

-An impressive 68% of scores have seen improvement, with an average increase of 11 points.

-We even had one resident achieve a staggering 296-point increase in their credit score!

This success underscores the tangible benefits Esusu brings to our applicants and residents. Let’s continue to champion Esusu as an invaluable opportunity for them. Together, we’re making a real difference in people’s financial lives!

On December 14th, we closed on the first phase of our latest affordable housing project in Brooklyn Park, MN. This marks the beginning of a two-building project that will be delivered in two phases and provide 350 affordable homes to the community.

Phase one includes 175 units featuring a variety of one, two, and three-bedroom floor plans, catering to a variety of household sizes, incomes and lifestyles. It will also feature a clubroom, fitness center and covered parking. Construction kicks off after the new year, with first occupancy planned for summer 2025. We anticipate the ground breaking of the second phase of this project to commence next Spring!

We are proud to share that in the first two months of our partnership with Esusu, we've already helped 300 residents establish their credit scores!

A heartfelt thank you to the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department for hosting a fantastic Halloween open house in their post located in Real Estate Equities' Press House apartment building in Downtown St. Paul. It was a great opportunity for the community to come together and have some fun, all while getting to know the incredible team that works hard to protect us every day.

Bill Bisanz, CEO of Real Estate Equities, had a great time reveling in the festivities and connecting with the team at the Halloween Open House. Such events underscore the vibrant sense of community we are fortunate to be a part of here in Downtown St. Paul.
