🇺🇸Congratulations to the Lithuania Bujinkan team for a successful TaiKai with Nagato Sensei this past weekend! Don’t forget that Nagato Sensei will be coming to Portland, Oregon for a three-day Taikai event. This is only a couple of months away!

JULY 26, 27, 28 2024

There will be 3 full days of training with Nagato Sensei. Each day, there will be a morning and afternoon session which will last for 2 hours. Godan testing will take place on Saturday for those of you wishing to take the test with Nagato Sensei. Also on Saturday, there will be an option to attend a catered formal dinner.

The Sacral Chakra is located in the lower abdomen, about two inches below the navel. The Sacral Chakra is the center of our creative energy, relationships with others, our sexuality, feeling present in our bodies, connection to feelings, pleasure, enjoyment, passion and sensuality. Love is the ultimate healing force; the Heart Chakra is an integrating and unifying chakra bringing wholeness, as our healing center. The Heart Chakra is where the energies of the lower chakras and upper chakras integrate, balancing the material and spiritual worlds.
The element associated with this chakra is Air, and the color is traditionally Green, but can also be pink.
The Earth's Heart Chakra is a dual chakra located at Shaftesbury and Glastonbury in Southern England.

Beginning in March, Mini-Ninja kids classes will be available at Ronin Bujinkan Dojo & Holistic Health Coaching in Salem.

This will be a holistic self defense class. Budo is not a sport. Kids aren’t going to be breaking boards and competing against each other for trophies. They will learn how to move their body and allow their opponent to defeat themselves. They will learn how to manage outward conflict by managing the conflict within. The teachings are a way of life, not a twice a week on the mat type of practice.

The past couple of months have been a struggle (mentally, physically and spiritually). It’s always difficult this time of year, because I’m not getting much sunlight, and I’m not spending much time out in nature.

Monday I was feeling disconnected from the world. I went on a spontaneous drive to get away from the busy city, and ended up at Silvercreek Falls. I was thinking I’d go on a short walk and get my feet in the water, but ended up going the long way to get down to the water, which lead me to the most magical experience!

I eventually found a good spot to put my feet in, then decided I’d just dip all the way in for a nice cold plunge. It was invigorating! I laughed and cried tears of joy. I felt so alive, connected, grateful, and awestruck by the beauty of this place, and this experience. I then walked barefoot for a good 20 minutes to continue this connection with Mother Nature.

Before this adventure I was like a computer that was too overloaded and froze up. This experience restarted my system, so I could get back to everyday life, running smoothly again.

If you are struggling, I highly recommend getting your feet on the ground and finding a quiet place in nature.

I’ve also included a link to a YouTube video for a guided session of Ho’oponopono. I just started doing this the night before I ended up at Silvercreek Falls, and believe it can transform your life if you are ready for it.
