The Big Give Event is just a few short weeks away and your generosity will help us repair and update certain areas of the school. We hope you consider donating on September 18th @ 6 pm thru September 19th until 6 pm. Our hope is to fund the repair for the gymnasium A/C unit, renovate Building B's student bathrooms, and update science lab. Please share this message with all your friends and family. For us to reach this goal, we will need all of you to support this mission. We kindly thank you for your consideration and donations. Keep an eye out for more information on matching minutes and times. Click the link below to start your generosity journey.

Save the Date
📣 Attention all Atonement community members! Your unwavering support is absolutely crucial as we gear up for the annual BIG GIVE event sponsored by The Nonprofit Council. This year, we're on a mission to secure funds to enhance and revamp key areas throughout the school, such as the gymnasium's AC, student bathrooms in Building B, and the science lab. Remember, no donation is too big or too small, and your backing means the world to us.
But here's the exciting part: your donations can be multiplied through matching from other organizations during their "minute matching" campaign. This means they'll match every dollar donated during specific time frames until the matching funds run out.
The Big Give Day is fast approaching, kicking off on Sept. 18 at 6 PM and wrapping up on Sept. 19 at 6 PM. But the impact of your early generosity, starting on Sept. 11, cannot be emphasized enough. Your participation during this period is pivotal to our success. We cannot express enough gratitude for your consideration and early support.
So, mark your calendars and join us on this special day as we strive to uplift the entire Atonement community. Together, we can make a significant difference!

CYO needs more players and coaches!!!
Please encourage friends and classmates to join up so we can make sure we have enough players and coaches to form teams!
If teams can't be formed you will have the option to join up with another parish, another parishes' players may be sent to form a team at OLA, cancel registration, or switch sports if possible.
If a team has enough players, you can still sign up!

When: July 13th
Time: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Where: St. Anthony Hall
Happy Birthday Deacon Delaney!
A long-time parishioner, Deacon Delaney, was ordained on May 21, 2020. He was immediately assigned to Our Lady of The Atonement and is a co-creator of our very successful Inquires Class. He is also a trusted friend, mentor, and spiritual director to many.
Deacon Delaney has also written and leads, along with his wife Patricia, a premarital course of study entitled, “The Great Mystery: Formation for Flourishing Marriage". Many parishioners have benefited from the lessons taught in this course.
He has served this parish faithfully for many years, both as a layperson, and deacon.
We are most fortunate to have Deacon Delaney on the clerical staff of Atonement.

Ordination Mass June 2024 Rev. Mr. Andrew James Westerman & Rev. Mr. Jeffrey Lee Baker
Congratulations Deacon Westerman!
We are excited to have you in our Our Lady of The Atonement Catholic Church community!
“I am grateful for the role Wyoming Catholic College played in preparing me for my vocation. Truly, the foundation of my priestly vocation and my love for Christ and his Church is in large part a product of my time spent in ‘God’s Country.’”
Tomorrow at 6:30pm (CT), at Our Lady of Walsingham in Houston, Deacon Andrew Westerman (‘19) will be ordained to the priesthood by Most Rev. Steven J. Lopes, Bishop of the Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter. Westerman, who will serve as Parochial Vicar for Our Lady of The Atonement Church in San Antonio after his ordination, will be the second Wyoming Catholic College alumnus to become a priest.
Please keep Andrew in your prayers, that God may richly bless him and his priesthood, and that he may serve his parishioners well and faithfully, setting their souls on fire with love for Christ. (The Ordination Mass will be live-streamed on the Ordinariate website, beginning at 6:30pm CT).
Congratulation Father Lewis on your
12th Anniversary of Ordination!
Father Lewis was installed as the Pastor of Our Lady of The Atonement in July of 2017. He was previously the Pastor of St. Luke's in Bladensburg, Maryland. We have been so BLESSED by Father Lewis's ministry over the past seven years at Our Lady of The Atonement. Thank you Father Lewis for your pastoral wisdom, spirit of hospitality, and keen administrative gifts.
Motto that Father Lewis lives by
"The better a man understands how much he has been forgiven, the more that man will walk humbly before the Lord."
Business and Parish Offices will be closed on May 27th in observance of Memorial Day. Office hours will resume on May 28th.
We eagerly anticipate the priestly ordination of our new Parochial Vicar, Deacon Andrew Westerman on Friday, June 28th at Our Lady of Walsingham in Houston.
The Parish is making arrangements to rent a coach bus for those interested in attending his Ordination. If you would like to be a part of this special occasion and travel with us, please email Erica Lizama at [email protected] to express your interest. The number of individuals interested will determine the rental of the bus, so don't hesitate to contact Erica as soon as possible.

SUPPORT OUR SEMINARIANS WITH YOUR PRAYERS AND GIFTS
This weekend you have the opportunity to support our seminarians who have discerned a call to serve as priests, the next shepherds of the Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter. Today, all Parishes and Parochial Communities of the Ordinariate are hosting a collection for the Seminary Formation Fund. Thank you for your support of the seminarians who have so generously responded to the call to serve the Lord, the Church and all of us. You may find donation cards and pre-addressed envelopes in the pews. Checks should be made payable to “Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter” and sealed in the envelopes provided together with a completed donation card. Gifts will be collected during Mass or you may send your gift directly to the Chancery using the pre-addressed envelope. Be sure to include a completed donation card in your envelope. You may also give online at www.ordinariate.net/give-to-sff. While the need is great, no gift is too small. Thank you for your prayerful consideration!
