2. Original Birth Certificate for all children 1yr and older, newborn to 1yr birth facts is fine.
3. Proof of residence (lease, utility bill, gov assistant letter)
4. Approval letter

EVERYONE MUST STAY IN THE VEHICLE. There are NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS.

Cutting in line will NOT be tolerated, this means with a vehicle or parking your vehicle or getting dropped off and jumping in with someone else. If you are caught both you and the other person will be disqualified.

Please DO NOT block other businesses driveways! They need access in and out of their business.

Good afternoon,
This weekend is our first distribution. As you all know, things are different this year due to the pandemic. With that being said, below is the address for this years warehouse. Keep in mind that this year is a drive thru not a walk up. You must be in a vehicle to receive your toys along with having all required documents. There will be no exceptions. We would also like to add, this is a program for children but you do not have to bring them with you. There are no restrooms for anyone there so please plan accordingly. If there are any arguments within the line, anyone involved will be asked to leave and not return. If you get out of the line for any reason (other than a T4T volunteer asking you to) you will have to get back at the end of the line. No cutting or holding spots for anyone. We will be trying our hardest to get everyone in and out as quickly as possible so please work with us by having everything ready when it is your turn. The holidays are here, and along with family, food and fun, Mission Ridge Range and Academy wants to remind the public the importance of gun safety. Mission Ridge Range and Academy, San Antonio’s premier shooting sports venue, will be hosting a holiday event which will reveal best gun safety practices and give away free gun safety kits to attendees. At the event, attendees are encouraged to check out their state-of-the-art facility and firearm store. In partnership with Toys 4 Tots, all attendees who bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event will also receive $10.00 off range time.

If you have submitted an application but have not received an approval please DO NOT re submit one. We have thousands of applications to go through and it’s only November 6th. Applications are accepted until November 30 and we have until December 5th to approve.

We have started the approval process and have already run into duplicate applications 220 to be exact. Please DO NOT submit more then one application! If you receive a control number but no email that is ok, keep the control number. Also please make sure you are paying attention to the information entered, the child’s age and gender as well as your personal info.

The application for toys has been open since this morning. We have already had several questions so we would like to address them in case others have the same.
1. Birth facts will be accepted for children newborn to exactly 1yr of age Only.
2. There will be no military pick up date or make up date.
3. If you have a child with special needs that requires different age appropriate toys please put that in the comments.
4. While we would love to provide clothing we do not have the ability to do so, so clothing size is not needed.
5. We are unable to deliver toys you must pick up on your designated weekend.
6. This year will be a drive thru pick up please plan accordingly, you will not be able to get out of your vehicle. When it is your turn you will open your trunk and a bag will be placed inside please make sure there is room.
7. The following documents are required as previous years No Exception. Original Birth Certificate for each child, Valid Government ID, Prof of residence.
8. Please DO NOT SUBMIT more then one application, if there is an error please email us. If you put the incorrect gender we cannot fix that please be careful when filling out application.
9. You are only able to submit for your children, if you have custody you must have legal court documentation.
10. You will receive 2 emails the 1st stating your application as been received and the 2nd will be the actual approval which you will need printed when you pick up.

Starting October 26th through November 30 we will be accepting applications to receive toys. This year the ages for the children will be Newborn to 14 years of age only. Please keep in mind the following documents will be required on the day of pick up, NO EXCEPTIONS. Original birth certificates for all children, proof of residence for the parents/guardians, a valid government photo ID, and your confirmation email with the control number. Due to Covid we will be doing things a little different this year. Distribution days are as follows A-L December 12th & 13th M-Z December 19th & 20th. Please plan accordingly as there will be no make up days.

We hope everyone is staying safe during these changing times. While many things continue to change, we are still committed to assisting our community. With that in mind we encourage you to start gathering all necessary documents. As In the past, we will be requiring original birth certificates for all children, proof of residence for the parents/guardians, and a valid government photo ID. Reminder

-If you have requested toys for your family please make sure to have all required documents. No Exceptions! We have posted the list of required documents several weeks ago, if you do not have the documents you will be turned away.

-As stated on the Official Toys for Tots website please give us until Dec. 10th to approve requests. At that time if you have not received your approval letter then you can contact us.

****Update****

We have been getting several Comments and messages regarding addresses on IDs it is required by the state to update your address within 30 days of moving. We apologize for the inconvenience but our organization requires a valid ID and are enforcing it.

Valid forms of proof of residence include lease, utility bills, government funded program documents. If living with a family member you must have a notarized letter from that member with a copy of their ID.

If a child has been placed in your home you must have documentation from the court.

Any information received from anyone other then the coordinator please disregard.

Families picking up toys please make sure to have your control number ready to make the process go faster. Make sure you have all required documents NO EXCEPTIONS...Children are not required to be present, it is preferred for them to not be present. Please keep in mind that the people helping are ALL VOLUNTEERS, if you are not satisfied with the toys received please do NOT take it out on them.

Attention going forward there will be no more exceptions for documentation you must have the required documents to pick up toys. You must pick your toys on the Designated day If you do not there will be 1 make up day that we have set up. I’m sorry if you think this is unfair but this is causing way to much chaos. The rules did not change from last year dispute what people have said. Also each child will receive 2 toys which is the same as the last 2 years. If you have any questions please private message us and we will get back to you ASAP, do not go by what others say on this page ultimately the coordinators have the final say.
