RESCUED!

🚨 These are the four Rescue Only kitties that have been at Devore the longest. Now that the Rescue Only room has filled up again (only two empty kennels to start the day), today could be their last. We won’t really know their true temperament until they’re out of the shelter environment and in a safe quiet space with a human that can give them more time to show their true selves. They need rescue backing for however they turn out, whether feral and in need of appropriate placement or socialized and in need of a foster home until their forever is found. 🙏

Jalinda(now known as Nala) and her kittens Naarah, JackFrost, Kartanya(now known as Misty), and Taron were rescued and currently with their foster, Kim! They are in great hands but very sick. This family would really appreciate if you can show support by donating towards their vetting and sending them lots of love. They are currently receiving antibiotics and lots of cuddles.

Sadly, Jalinda is back at the vet. 😔
From her foster mom, “Not good news. She’s anemic, URI, severe infection, possible foreign object in abdomen, constipated, dehydrated He’s working up the estimate now. They’re keeping her overnight and will do a barium Xray tomorrow and repeat the CBC. FELV negative. He says she fought them good to place the feeding tube so they had to mildly sedate her. She still has fight in her so that’s a good sign but we have multiple issues we’re dealing with. 💔💔💔💔”
