A heads-up for our SoCal travelers! On October 14 & 15 will have service interruptions between San Bernardino and Montclair. Also they won't have alternative bus services during this period. π

Friendly reminder that the government is conducting a test of the emergency broadcast system today to all receiving phones, radios, and televisions. This test will commence at 2:20 PM EST/11:20 AM PST. Should the test need to be postponed due to weather, it will be rescheduled for October 11th. You should only receive a message once over the 30 minute testing period.
IF YOU ARE IN A SITUATION WHERE YOU HAVE A HIDDEN CELL PHONE FOR YOUR SAFETY: power that phone off for the entire testing period and the message should not be delivered to you. It might be better to ensure the battery is removed if that phone has the option. Stay safe.
