Happy 4th of July! Please stay safe out there tonight…
Dear San Bernardino community,
Over 5 years ago we opened the first ever pet resource center in San Bernardino in order to provide pet food, spay and neuter and other resources to you and your pets. We have served over 4,000 individuals and families through our pet pantry (some every month and some only when needed) and we were able to bring a monthly mobile spay and neuter clinic to our facility and fix thousands of dogs and cats.
Many of you may, or may not, know that there is a big push to revitalize the San Bernardino International Airport, which is where we are located. Unfortunately, our organization is not included in those plans. There will not be a pet food distribution this month. We will be closing the doors to our facility on Friday, June 30th.
We would like to thank the Inland Valley Development Agency for allowing us to come in and serve the pet loving community these last 5 years. A huge thank you to all of those who donated and volunteered, for there would not have been a pet pantry or mobile clinics without all of you.
Just to be clear: Our organization is NOT closing - just our facility. We do not have another location to move to at this time. We will be taking a hiatus in order to regroup and to determine what the future of Daisy’s Hope looks like. We will continue to assist the community with spay and neuter, TNR and emergency vet bills at our local partner vet (as funds allow).
We will miss seeing many of you and your beloved pets every month. We will be open one last day, next Wednesday from 10:30-2:30, if you want to stop by and see us, pick up some engraved dog tags for your pups or shop to support our continued mission to provide spay and neuter for the community.
To all of the dads of both two and four legged kids…

🛑🛑REMINDER: THERE IS NO PET PANTRY DISTRIBUTION THIS MONTH🛑🛑
Hello and Happy New Year to you all..
WE WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY.
As many of you know, last year presented some challenges to our organization that we have not experienced in our seven years of existence.
Our biggest challenge was keeping our pet pantry shelves stocked with enough food to support roughly 300 families and their pets every month. In the past, this was never an issue because manufacturers were always producing more product than could be sold. We were blessed with receiving their monthly donations (write offs) and, generally speaking, always had full shelves.
Much has changed in the last six months and now stores have empty pet food shelves and the manufacturers are not producing enough supply to sell, let alone to donate.
With that said, we are needing to change and adapt to the current environment and figure out where we go from here.
We will be closed for the entire month of January. We will not be providing any services while we are on this “administrative hiatus”. We are hopeful we will find a solution that will allow us to be doing what we love, which is serve our San Bernardino community of pet lovers.
We appreciate every individual and every organization that came to our rescue with food and supply donations in September, October, November and December. It’s because of all of you that we were able to finish the year strong and make sure the beloved pets of SB were fed during the holidays. We couldn’t do this without our village! So, with extreme gratitude, we thank all of you. 🥰🥰🥰
We will see you all next month, hopefully, with some good news.
🎄Merry Christmas! 🎄
We would like to send out a huge thank you to The Mortgage Guys in Rancho Cucamonga for holding their 2nd holiday pet food drive for us. 🥰
Thank you Kameron Moise and the rest of the team for making it possible for us to assist approximately 300 struggling seniors, veterans, homeless, and families with pets this holiday season. 🐶😻
