The $1M Club... not so sure this is a good thing (affordability). The amount of persevered wealth is crazy across all of CA; however, in economics there is a rule of Supply & Demand... combine that with the number one rule of Real Estate = location, location, location and here we are. Without the factors of the 2008 bubble burst (people are truly qualifying for loans and can actually afford more) it will be interesting to see how much higher prices go. My prediction, things slowly level off in 2019.. based on rent prices alone, owning still makes sense.
