📊 The Federal Reserve announced they will keep the federal funds rate steady for the 7th straight time.
Here are your top three takeaways from today's meeting:
1. The federal funds rate is holding in the range of 5.25% to 5.5%. (This is not the same as mortgage rates).
2. Despite inflation approaching the goal of 2%, the Fed does not yet feel confident enough to cut rates.
3. The Fed is prepared to maintain the current target federal funds rate for as long as appropriate.

Our Story
Lisa Curran Gaffikin is a California native, mother of 2 young adults, and currently a mortgage home loan specialist at Evergreen Home Loans. Since 2003 she has guided, led, and helped numerous customers realize homeownership.
Prior to her role as a loan officer, Lisa was a successful Realtor® in Colorado, then in Orange County, California. In May of 2012, Lisa left the real estate side of the business to enter the lending industry.
Lisa graduated high school at FVHS in Fountain Valley, California and received a memorial tennis scholarship her senior year. She has a long history playing and competing in many sports, such as softball, soccer, track & field,and also enjoys skiing & snowboarding, hiking and more!
After high school, while working full-time she went on to obtain an associate’s degree from Golden West College and then continued her education at CSUF and CSULB in Southern California. She also holds a trade school degree from Platt College in marketing with an emphasis on advertising and design.
