Your favorite purple ladies are at it again!

The San Francisco Section is having our 2nd Annual Black Baby Doll Drive.

This is in support of US Congressional Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act of 2021 - H.R. 959 that supports Black Maternal Health. The Black Maternal Health Week 2023 ( ) is scheduled for April 11th โ€“ 17th.

Donations will be made to the Alternative Family Services (AFS) in San Francisco. AFS shared with us last year that black children are the highest percentage that are supported by their organization. This organization provides foster care service, as well as adoption services, mental health services and transition age youth services. They have locations in San Francisco, Oakland, Vallejo, Sacramento, Pleasanton, Santa Rosa and San Rafael. Our 2022 donations were presented to the San Francisco office. The San Francisco location shared the donations with all their other locations. We received a huge welcome and thank you from AFS; they were very much appreciative.

Please consider donating to children that are transitioning through this organization. If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected].
