Community is an integral part of Bhakti SF and we love to discuss how to make our space more pleasant and inviting. This week at Yoga Talks our dear teacher Navina Nirada will be giving a presentation on Nourishing and Enlivening community followed by a vegetarian feast.

Navina originates from Switzerland and after spending many years in a monastic environment, he now travels the world giving classes at temples and Bhakti communities, fanning the spark and sharing stories and anecdotes from his years of experience in the bhakti yoga movement.

Yoga Talks this Sunday. Join us for a discussion on astral projection and extrasensory experiences with Ananta Chaitanya. How do we know our senses give a complete picture of reality when the senses give qualitatively and quantitatively incomplete measurements? How can we find extrasensory information - what the yoga texts describe as Adhoksaja - or that which lies beyond the path of the eyes. This discussion at Bhakti SF on Sunday March 5th at 5 PM, followed by Music Meditation and a vegan feast 👏

This week’s Yoga Talks with Sky is entitled “Yoga - the art of all work”

Yoga is one of the most common sanskrit words to have been incorporated into the English language - and it can be practiced in many ways. In the Gita we hear of practices like "karma yoga", "dhyana yoga", "bhakti yoga". In this week's session Sky will be leading a presentation on a complete and universal yoga system, that can be practiced by anyone. What is the essence of all the yoga practices and how do we incorporate the them into a holistic daily practice?

Hey wanna become a vegan chef pro? Next month is our first cooking class since the pandemic. People are always asking about the food at Bhakti SF so we are excited to show you a full menu of vegan pizza, including the dough, pesto sauce, toppings and grilling to perfection in a pizza oven. In addition we will show how to make sides of Vegan Pesto Pasta, a salad and vegan tiramisu!
