We're playing Monday and Thursday nights in San Francisco with sessions starting at 7 and 8pm. There are no referees, no official teams, and no standings.
SoccerFours is a non-profit based in San Francisco that provides adult pick-up soccer on a drop-in basis. SoccerFours provides people in San Francisco a place to just come and have fun playing soccer in a 4v4 format with small goals. Many people also use this as an opportunity to not only play, but to practice their skills and try new things without fear of messing up. Since there is no score kept

As many of you may have noticed, our website is experiencing issues. We're working on getting it resolved. Rest assured our sessions are running as usual at Beach Chalet on Mondays and Kimbell on Thursdays 7pm and 8pm starts! :)
TONIGHT only! We're going to have a SINGLE 90-minute session from 7:30pm-9pm at Kimbell for the same $10/person cost!
Come on out if you can for an extended "stretch of the legs"!

SoccerFours vs Playing on a 7v7 Team -- A Comparison 🤔 We’re continuing play at Beach Chalet on Mondays and Raymond Kimbell Playground (turfed soccer pitch) on Thursday nights at the usual 7pm and 8pm start times from now until the end of November.
Sessions tonight (7/20/23) at Kimbell Playground Soccer Field have unfortunately been canceled. Our facilitator has the flu and our backups happen to be unavailable too. We hope to be back at it Monday night at Beach Chalet as usual!

Summer SoccerFours playing MONDAYS and THURSDAYS -- drop-in and say hi! We’re playing at Beach Chalet on Mondays and Raymond Kimbell Playground (turfed soccer pitch) on Thursday nights at the usual 7pm and 8pm start times from now until the end of August.
No sessions on Memorial Day evening! We'll be back on Thursday night at Kimball (and again at Beach Chalet on Mondays). New sessions to be posted on our site on Tuesday evening! See you all soon! :)

We regret to announce that our wonderful facilitator Ramon has become unavailable to facilitate sessions due to new job obligations in the East Bay. (Congrats!)
We have canceled our last Wednesday night session at Franklin for the season and are actively looking at hiring replacement(s) for our Spring season which is slated to start in the next week or so.
When we have coverage in place, we'll post sessions on the website as per usual.
Looking forward to providing you all with some sessions ASAP! :)
A heads-up for those those who are interested -- co-founder Chris Hutchison will be playing tonight passing out free, in-game nutmegs at Franklin Square Turf Field. Come out and claim your very own!

Saw this article and had to share... Having played in Europe I can vouch the US having pay-to-play for youth is akin to our country using Imperial measurement while the rest of the world is on the Metric system...
Club soccer puts the sport out of reach for many kids Playing competitive youth soccer can cost families a small fortune, excluding kids who might excel at the sport. There are efforts around the country to get more kids in the game.

Building Community
As a result of being a casual pick-up soccer game, folks who play with us on a regular basis often become part of a little community and find new friends and acquaintances. It’s not something we envisioned when we started out -- we were striving to 1) provide a place to play for individuals not on a team for whatever reason and 2) to use funds brought in to donate to charities in our neighborhoods -- but it’s definitely manifested on its own due to our collective interest in the beautiful game. Long may that continue!
