🔳 On this Giving Tuesday we’re asking you to support coffee farmers and their families in Central America affected by hurricanes Eta and Iota.

🔳 Mudslides and floods destroyed houses and forced people to evacuate. It’s been a very tough year for coffee growers already and hurricane season made everything so much worse. Fundraising efforts by (supporting farmers in Honduras) and (supporting farmers in Guatemala, Mexico and Nicaragua) are meant to rebuild houses and provide emergency aid.

Today is a big today. In part because it’s our first time voting in presidential elections and timing couldn’t be more right. In our ten-year journey in the U.S. we experienced ups and downs of the democracy and our inability to make our voices count really made it hard at times (hello, 2016). Today feels very special and we’re asking you to do your part if you haven’t already. Happy Election Day, everyone.

It has taken many naturally occurring pivotal moments throughout our personal and professional growth as humans, industry professionals and global citizens to get to this point in present time.

We are here now, announcing our biggest accomplishment yet, HEDGE coffee program.

Given the enormous support system and encouragement from all of you people, we are proud to continue the work we do to strive to be better together.

We’ll be closed tomorrow, Monday the 19th and Tuesday the 20th. We’ll miss you terribly. Cortados and conversations will resume operations (8am-3pm) on Wednesday, October 21st.

We’ve been taking our coffee knowledge to a virtual space these past few months. This one was a special project for made possible with the help from our friends, full-service production bandits .

This week we quietly started a three-month residence at . It’s been strange six months without doing what we love most - sharing our passion for coffee. We’re committed being there every day unless the air gets bad (we won’t be open if AQI is 100+). We’d love to see you for coffee and distant hugs. Bring a mask and a friend.
