We won’t be making our deliveries this week.
I mean we actually could have probably squeezed one delivery day in this week but honestly we want to see how Tuesday shakes out before seeing if a celebratory meal or severe comfort food is in order.

We are posting our Thanksgiving menu for pre-orders. We normally sell out so don’t forget, the early bird gets the bird!

Our delivery days for Thanksgiving are as follows:
Wednesday 11/27: SF, North Bay & East Bay
Thursday 11/28: SF and all points South Bay/Peninsula

We are able to cater large format get togethers so don’t be shy. We supply everything you’ll need with easy reheating instructions. You just supply the drunk uncle.

My introduction to these foods came from Meine Liebe George Ann. She lived in Germany as a teenage exchange student and speaks fluent German. Every winter we would go to our favorite German restaurant in the upper east side NYC and (over)indulge in a boot or two of beer and the aforementioned hearty dishes.

This week we are celebrating all things Oktoberfeast!
We’ve lightened the dishes up enough that you won’t feel the need to hibernate for the Winter.

Feeling extra thankful today so I made Thanksgiving Dinner tonight. And for dessert: Pear Tarte Tatin.
-Thankful for GeorgeAnn’s amazing recovery from double knee replacement surgery.
-Thankful for good news from the vet about Henry. He lost a bunch of weight and the vet thought he might have Lymphoma. Ultrasound and biopsy came back clean. Turns out he has a severe allergic reaction to the new fancy cat food we “upgraded “ him to. We’ll chonk him up in no time!
-And yes…thankful for my Yankees (and Mets) making it to the LCS!

Talk about an October Surprise!
George Ann has recovered at light speed and has been back at work less than 5 weeks after double knee surgery.
This has shocked many people (including her surgeon), but not those of us that know her.
What a stud!

We are back on the road this week delivering dinners in the catering convertible.
We are only able to do one delivery day this week.
We are delivering on Friday 10/11 only in SF and all points South Bay/Peninsula.

As an added bonus we are back in the Baygel business.
