River of Life Family Church - San Jose, CA
A Bible teaching, Spirit Filled, Fun Loving and Family Oriented Community Church located in San Jose, CA...
“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.””
- Mark 16:17-18
At the River, we believe in the signs and wonders that follow all those who believe in Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. Ever wonder why people speak in tongues at the River? Or why we believe in the power to cast out demons or heal the sick? It’s because we have been anointed as believers! And Jesus never said that it would stop, only that it would increase.
We are a house of prayer.
Today, we are lifting up all our River kids and students up the Lord for protection against the world’s agendas. We know the enemy is going to speak lies to our kids this year, but we declare the truth of the Lord will stand! We come into agreement with the word of the Lord that our sons and daughters will be the head and not the tail, will be in the light as Jesus is in the light, and a shield will be around them at all times to protect against every assignment of the devil. May the blessing and favor be upon you and your family in the mighty name of Jesus. This is the year of Crazy Favor!
Praying for you always. We are here for you. You belong ❤️
Who’s still feeling the move of the Holy Spirit from yesterday?! 🙌🏽
Holy Spirit brought 🔥 through Pastor Randy’s sermon “When Stones Are Enough”!!!!!
Here’s our key takeaways:
1. It’s not about my ability, but my awareness of His sufficiency.
2. David didn’t have a different advantage. He had a greater awareness!
3. All it took was one stone. The other stones were to remind David of all the things God had done for him in the past!
What did the Holy Spirit reveal to you? Share in the comments below! 👇🏼

Who’s still feeling the 🔥 from what God did yesterday? Demons got cast out, people healed, and there was a fresh baptism of the Holy Spirit!
Here are some of our key takeaways from Sunday’s sermon:
• You cannot pursue purpose if your priority is popularity
• Attitude always determines your altitude
• Sometimes you’re supposed to rebuke the storm. Sometimes you’re supposed to step into it.
• Breakthrough happens when you stop being impressed with your problem, and more impressed with God
We’d love to hear how the Holy Spirit spoke to you! Please share in the comments below.
We have prayed and prepared the atmosphere for your breakthrough this Sunday! And now we prophesy that miracles, signs, and wonders are going to happen for you as you come expecting and believing!
See you at church!

The Holy Spirit has been pouring out! 🔥
“The problem is not the lack of God’s miracle working power, but a lack of seeking the face of God.”
Have you been hearing about all the signs and wonders happening at the River? 🙌🏽 Most importantly, eyes and ears are opening with greater spiritual awareness.
See you tonight at Thursday night prayer!
The Holy Spirit brought a 🔥 word through Pastor Randy yesterday!
Key takeaways from Sunday’s sermon:
• When you are rooted in the presence of God, you are positioned for the move of God.
• Time doesn’t heal anything. It’s what you do with the time that determines the level of your healing.
What was your key takeaway from the sermon? We would love to hear how God spoke to you!

Get to know your River Family! DIVE into River Culture.
Our mission as a church in the Bay Area is to share the love of Jesus where the people are.
We don’t wait for people to show up in the building, because Jesus didn’t wait for people to show up in the synagogue. That’s why we get out of the 4 walls and find ways to meet people where they are, so we can love them right there. At the River, we always say that we aren’t trying to build members; we are sending missionaries!
Today’s Value: House of Prayer
One thing you’ll realize as soon as you come through the doors of the River…this house is filled with prayer! You can tell, because the way to the Presence has been prepared through prayer. Everything we do begins with prayer, and without prayer we do nothing.
Dive into River Culture through various ways that we gather for prayer: Thursday night prayer, Sunday morning altar ministry, Mornings in the Secret Place.
That moment when you hear the loving voice of the Holy Spirit challenging you to rise up to who you were called to be…

People ask us all the time why we like getting out of the church to bless our community. It’s because we love God and we love people! Therefore, we are called to share the good news about what Jesus did for us.
Today’s pop up closet was a huge success and a great turnout! We ran out of some supplies, because there were so many people in need. Most importantly we were able to pray with so many who came. We are grateful for the connections we are making with our neighbors and community. This is the reason we exist….to share the love of Jesus where the people are!
DM to join our pop up team or to if you are interested in supporting. Your prayers and financial giving are helping us make our city better through the love of Jesus! Let’s impact lives together!

One of our greatest joys is feeling the love of Jesus flow through us as we fill the cup of another.
Our Mission: “We exist to share the love of Jesus where the people are.”
At the River, we get filled up so we can pour out!
DM to join our volunteer team and let’s impact lives together ❤️
The River Fam took time today to serve the less fortunate in San Jose. We believe what the Bible teaches. Our faith isn’t just expressed in what we say, but by what we do. Today, we gave out almost all the clothing and we served some delicious food! We thank God for these opportunities to build connection with our community. It’s leading to greater levels of trust where we can encourage them and pray for them. We are vessels of the living God. We bring freedom, healing, joy, and deliverance everywhere we go!
“We exist to share the love of Jesus where the people are.”
