We are excited to announce our 2nd half real estate collection dates across Erie County.
The Treasurer’s office appreciates the partnerships with locations across the county who allow us to collect taxes at their offices.

The Treasurer’s Office will be collecting property taxes today in Vermilion at Key Bank from 9 am to 12 pm and in Huron at the Library from 1 pm to 4 pm.
It’s everyone’s favorite time of year! First half property taxes are due on February 21st. My office has extended office hours (8 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday) through the due date.
We also have more convenient ways to pay, including on our new and improved website (treasurer.eriecounty.oh.gov), or at in-person locations across the county on February 13 and 14 (see below).

The Erie County Treasurer’s Office will be on the road this week to collect property taxes in Castalia, Milan, Huron and Vermilion.

The Erie County Treasurer’s office can now accept credit and debit cards for tax payments at our office. Please note we still accept cash, check, and money order.
Also, note that the the payment processor charges a 1% fee for debit cards and a 2.39% fee for credit cards.
Due to weather and the holiday, the Treasurer’s office will be closed until Tuesday, December 27th

Effective today, our office’s hours return to 8 am - 4 pm Monday - Friday
First half real estate taxes are due tomorrow. Our office is open from 7:30 am - 5 pm today and tomorrow. You can also mail payment or pay online at https://www.eriecounty.oh.gov/PayTaxesOnline.aspx
Today is our last day of mobile tax collection! We are in Castalia at the Margaretta Township Building from 12 pm to 6 pm. First half real estate taxes are due February 16.
We are at the Firelands Association of Realtors in Perkins Township at 2710 Campbell St until 6 pm today.
Today, our team will be at Key Bank in Vermilion from 10 am to 4 pm to collect property taxes. Hope to see you there!

Due to weather conditions, our office will be closed on Thursday, February. 3rd. Our staff will still be available by phone to assist taxpayers at 419-627-7701.
