By repurposing recycled materials Claudio challenges traditional notions of beauty and value in art turning what is often seen as worthless into something meaningful. ✨

Does your 1st-3rd grader like to create and use their imagination?💭
Creativity meets inspiration in this hands-on building camp. From July 29 to August 2nd, children will use unconventional recycled materials to build their own mini-carnival: race down a roller coaster, soar with a mini sky ride, create an amazing fun house maze, launch a catapult ball throw game. Students will learn how to innovate and think outside the box as they explore the exciting world of STEAM (STEM + Art) with lessons ranging from engineering to physics to design—reuse, renew, and re-imagine as they learn to problem-solve and look at materials in a whole new way. Does your 4th-6th grader dream of starting their own business?💭
From July 29 to August 2, creativity meets entrepreneurship in this hands-on building camp geared toward preparing the next generation of inventors—where the only limit is your child’s imagination. Instructors will guide students as they work to create their own product, with lessons including engineering, design, budgeting, and marketing. Using unconventional recycled materials, students reuse, renew, and re-imagine as they learn to problem-solve and look at materials in a whole new way. These campers will make their own Shark Tank presentations on the last day of class.

Thank you to our host, Edwards Lifesciences. We raised a record-breaking $112,000! With 115 guests in attendance, it was an inspiring evening as we celebrated the 42,000 students whose lives were impacted last year through our hands-on STEAM programs and looked ahead to inspiring the next generation of critical thinkers, innovators, and leaders yet to come.

As our STEAM Champion of the year, the Sun Family Foundation will be recognized for their outstanding work as STEM advocates and pursuit of a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Creativity Champion Dave Elliott is the President of the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce and the Founder/CEO of the Institute for Community Impact, and a tireless champion of the nonprofit community in Orange County for over 20 years. Having served the community for over 75 years, the Boys & Girls Club of Buena Park will be lauded for their innovative STEAM and Teen Leadership Programming as our Champion for Youth.
