UCSB Sustainability
Action Today For Tomorrow We use the campus as a living lab and everyone has a role to play in making the campus sustainable.
At the University of California, Santa Barbara our goal is to approach environmental issues head on and innovate solutions to improve the environment. We foster a culture of sustainability through supporting campus-wide efforts, coordinating program development, and publicizing sustainability work by students, staff, and faculty.

Join us for a one-hour webinar on Community Disaster Education!
In a world where natural disasters like fires, mudslides, floods, and earthquakes can strike at any time, being prepared is crucial. Join us for an essential workshop designed to help you protect yourself, your family, loved ones, housemates, pets, and property.
During this engaging session, you’ll learn how to anticipate and respond to the hazards that threaten our community. From creating a “go bag” and establishing an emergency meeting place to identifying an out-of-state contact, we’ll cover everything you need to know to stay safe in an emergency. We’ll also discuss the importance of climate resiliency and how building adaptability into our personal preparedness plans can help us face the increasing challenges posed by climate change-related disasters.
Whether you’re concerned about the next wildfire, the potential for flooding, or the impact of an earthquake, this workshop will equip you with the tools and knowledge to face any disaster with confidence. Bring your questions and leave with a personalized disaster preparedness plan.
Don’t wait until it’s too late—take action now to safeguard your future!
