Even though many of us may no longer be on campus, having a community to lean on is more important than ever. RHA will continue to hold (virtual) events throughout the quarter and our first program will be Spring Spotlight! Anyone and everyone is welcome to participate by sending in videos or pictures of themselves showing off a talent or hobby, which we’ll 🌟spotlight🌟on our Instagram, with prizes available for People’s Choice and Judge’s Choice. Let’s celebrate each other!

Do you want to get involved in leadership that goes beyond campus? If yes, the National Communications Chair is the position for you! Represent UCSB Residential Life at regional and national conferences, and serve as an active member of the RHA Executive Board 🌟

To be eligible for this position, you MUST be living in a UCSB residential hall for the 2020-2021 school year.

The Flush, a monthly RHA publication posted in all residential restroom stalls, is currently accepting submissions for its first edition of the year! For this edition, we will only be featuring events happening between Wednesday 10/16 and Sunday 11/3. Deadline to submit is Saturday 10/12 @ 4PM. The link to the submission form is in our bio! ✨

Hey Gauchos, we hope you’re enjoying your day off! If you’re home for the long weekend, consider donating a meal swipe to Swipe Out Hunger. Swipe Out Hunger is a campus organization that collects donated swipes to help address food insecurity in our community. 80 percent of swipes turn into meal vouchers for Gauchos in need (available for pick-up at the A.S. Food Bank), and the other 20 percent are converted to a monetary value, which is used to purchase food for the Santa Barbara shelters, the local Transition House, and PATH (formerly known as Casa Esperanza Homeless Center).
