Remember Reggie (right)? His aggression used to be scary. His owner got a good grasp on the training and never gave up. After hard work and dedication he has begun making new friends.

“Down” on State St (8:30pm Saturday night)… dogs and people passing by.
Mayo is practicing serious self control while Daisy is learning the application of markers.
I already spent some time on just teaching the marker so she is already kind of understanding that “good” means treat.
Why be thankful for the weekend break when this is what you do 7 days a week?
Koa is back with her little brother (from another mother) Mayo.
Koa is not only sharpening her training skills, but she’s also helping Mayo learn the same skills and they’re both learning to work together.
Little Brody is doing so well. Moments like this, I am grateful to have found my purpose. I wish they lived closer and I could visit my friends more often. ♥️

Brody was being so good I had to upgrade myself to Mesa Burger instead of the usual Hamburger Habit. He ignored people adoring him and stayed on a down until I ordered my burger inside.

❤️ Thank god this darling boy has one of the most amazing families ever. I don’t have to worry.
They cried when they dropped him off. I cried when they took him home. I love you Brody! The past 2 weeks were incredible.
The bond between trainer and trainee is special.

Place training has its benefits especially when outnumbered by dogs.
They’re ready for the final phase! These dogs are amazing students.
Fiesta with Arlito (Arlo) and Aspen on Friday night. Tonight will be better.
Trainers all need to start practicing real-world application of what they train.
It’s great to start off in the yard or in a low distraction environment but that doesn’t teach self control. If your dog doesn’t have enough self control to perform in high distraction environments, what is the point of the training?
Training and also having a Summer Vacation
The beach is one of the hardest places for dogs to practice self control.

Always teach your dogs to wait for a cue to get in the car. What if they have muddy paws one day and you want to grab a towel from inside the car?
