I hope you guys all had a great summer, but now that it's ending we have some new things to announce! We are moving to a new timeslot, club will now be held on Thursdays starting at 8 PM at our same venue at Santa Barbara Hillel. The new day allows us to start an hour earlier, which means more time for smash! Our first meeting at this new time slot will be on September 29th, and we will be having tournaments for Sm4sh and PM, with Melee and SFV tournaments happening the next week! Hope to see you guys there!

Hey guys, we only have 2 more meetings left in the school year, so be sure to come hang out with us before we break for the summer!

This upcoming Tuesday we will have our last tournaments for Project M and SFV for the school year. The Project M tournament will be $2 and the SFV tournament will be free like usual. We will also be announcing places 1-14 for our PR for Melee.

The Tuesday after that, our last meeting, will have the last Smash 4 tournament of the year and TWO melee tournaments! The first will be an Arcadian tournament open to everyone not on the first 14 spots of the PR (or on the Honorable Mentions), and the second tournament is a secondary tournament for our ranked players, where they can enter with any character they haven't used in tournament during the ranking period. The Smash 4 tournament will be $2 to enter like usual, and the two melee tournaments will be free to enter. Hope to see you there!

Hey everyone, hope you had a great winter break! Black and Blue will resume tomorrow at our BRAND NEW LOCATION thanks to Santa Barbara Hillel! Going forward we will meet Tuesdays at 9PM at Hillel, which is at 781 Embarcadero Del Mar. Hope to see you all at the first meeting of the new year!

Due to some exciting changes and that it is finals week we will not be holding club this week. We apologize to everyone who wanted to take a load off Finals with some Super Smash Bros; however, think of it as our anti-procrastination gift to all of you! And Happy Christmas everyone!

Since some SLOmies are coming down this week we're gonna stray from the bi-weekly tournament schedule a lil bit and have a paid melee tournament tonight. It will be standard double elimination with a $5 entry. $3 will go towards top 3 in a 60-30-10 split, and $2 will go to club to help pay for the new setups for club that Jake and I got this weekend. If you wanna compete but don't wanna pay, we are also running a free Street Fighter tournament today. And of course, friendlies will be available for free. Hope to see you guys there!

Hey fighters! Tonight at Black and Blue we're hosting our first biweekly Ultra Street Fighter 4 tournament. It's a free tournament, just like the Melee tournaments, but if 10 or more people enter, first prize will be a smooth $15.

We'll be starting the tournament at 9:00. If you're going to be a bit late, feel free to message me or comment here and we'll do our best to hold your matches!

Even if you've never played Street Fighter before, it's a simple game to get into and we've got some great teachers and newbies alike!
