To many chess is simply a game, but we know chess can be used to empower children to use their minds to solve the problems of the day. Sometimes those problems are at the chessboard and sometimes those problems are math homework or on the playground. At Sean's Fund we use chess to help children challenge their minds while enduring long hospitalization stays.
