It’s officially back to school season! As we all begin to return back time school, here are some helpful tips from the board to stay on top of it throughout the year! Happy back to school!

Calling all CASL Alumni!! This year we are reintroducing our Alumni PenPals and need your help. If you are interested in getting involved with CASL once again and want to help a current board member along their CASL journey, please fill out our google form found in our instagram bio by August 23rd!! We hope to see you!

CASL Magic calls are our new monthly support meetings dedicated to answering questions, walking through registrations, and providing an additional resource for our various events. CASL Magic calls will be devoted to helping with area conferences, leadership development days, and our CASL State Conference! Our first call for the year will be happening on August 8th at 7:30pm. After all the glitz and glam of a conference is over, there is always a team still there, striking down all 16 meeting spaces + the general session, the same team that was there days before the conference, setting it all up. The same team that made so many contributions along the journey and gave up their time to make sure every person at the NCSA Conference would say, "I can't wait to come back next year, this was just what I needed." And, no one could probably name any of them as they are the most humble heroes I know and do this work just to make the world better for students and teachers alike. Thanks to the CASL (California Association of Student Leaders) Advisory Team Jose Duenas, Ryan Willer, Dylan Gadeke, Andrew Smith and Jacklyn Uweh! Shout out Lucca Petrucci for stepping in to do the many hauls to the car with us!

Happy Presidents’ Day! Today, we are excited to announce the CASL Board has elected Diane Kim to serve as the 2023-2024 CASL State President. We are excited for the future of CASL and to see you all at the CASL Studio!
