Vintage Church L.A.

Over 300 bags of clothing were donated last Sunday at our Salvation Army Clothing Drive. These goods were valued at approximately $25,000 and all of it will go towards supporting the Salvation Army's long-term rehab and recovery programs in Santa Monica. Additionally, dozens of bags were set aside for the homeless guests we serve at our outreach dinners, including many winter jackets and cold weather items just as the nights start to cool down.

Huge thanks to everyone who donated and participated. It was an amazing and simple way to love our city, by meeting immediate, practical needs AND funding programs that support long-term transformation at the same time. Great work everyone!

Compton Initiative is one of our favorite partners to collaborate with in tangibly showing the love of God to our city! This past weekend, we sent volunteers to the city of Compton to complete painting and beautification projects together on an early Saturday morning. It's been incredible to watch this organization start with a small group of volunteers eager to show love and inspire hope, and grow to thousands of caring workers of all ages and backgrounds in yellow shirts who serve across the city.
