Sweet or Savory? Why not both. Watermelon salad is back for the summer.
The degree of difficulty on this burger dive is off the charts, so we recommend only seasoned professionals double down on our already hefty heifer patty. We can say that when this skyscraper was ordered, our guest, after being urged to proceed with caution, dispatched his meal in a jiffy.
Patio days are here again. Real estate on our front porch is getting a bit hard to come by. If you are contemplating al fresco dining at TCP in your near future, making a reservation might be prudent. Just write, “patio please” under notes to get your request in.
...and now, fresh out of the fryer. Soft-Shell Crab Sandwich #1 of the 2019 Season.
If you can peel, you can eat. These beauties are poached in Allagash Curieux Ale, harissa, garlic, lemon honey, and butter. Bonus fact: these wild caught, Mexican white shrimp have the lowest impact on the environment in the industry. By fishing from small boats called Pangas, rather than trawlers, these shrimpers are reducing the effect of destructive fishing practices, burning less fuel and lowering bycatch.
Kissing cookies. Of the giant chocolate chip variety. Just out of the oven. Crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle. Come and get ‘em.
Spring has sprung and many flowers are in full bloom, but there is one blossom that is most near and dear to our hearts… or maybe we should say our bellies: the squash blossom. Here it is, stuffed with goat cheese, batter-fried and placed center stage on a corn tortilla. Please help us enjoy the harvest here at The Curious Palate.
Hmmm? Two straight weeks of Spring Break on the way. What to do? How about lunch on the patio at The Curious Palate and a movie at Arclight?
It’s the weekend. Time to spice it up a bit. Popcorn Shrimp are just the ticket.
It’s lent. Tomorrow is Friday. Have a fish taco or three. And yes. Please do liberally douse with house made salsa roja.
Keep it simple. Let the flavors shine. Sushi grade hamachi, olive oil, lime juice, Hawaiian black salt, just the slightest hint of harissa. Voila! Hamachi crudo!
