For many years now, we were free to make this statement. Yesterday this freedom was stripped away. Now that the federal government has given authority to the states to decide whether abortion is legal, many women will be left with no options, no choice. Needless to say, this is a huge step backward for wile’s rights. For human rights.

My immediate reaction was anger. I felt the rage of my ancestors and women before me who have suffered for our freedoms.
I cried and was overcome with grief.

I feel the heaviness of my sisters out there who find themselves in an unfair situation. Not only are they facing the fears associated with an unexpected pregnancy, but now they fear what persecution they might face when deciding what is best for their lives and health. I send each one of them love, compassion, and strength.

As I process my emotions, I know that the only way forward is love. We are in the midst of a feminine rising. Women everywhere are stepping into their power and realizing the gifts and medicine we can offer this world. The patriarchy once again attempts to smother our light, to try and strip us of our power. Although this decision will affect the masses in a way our mothers and grandmothers can remember, and we will soon discover, we must not lose hope. We must continue the push forward, healing our traumas, understanding the blessings of the feminine way, and talk by action on change we have the power to initiate for the women of the future.

Please consider donating to the organizations who will continue the fight for our fundamental Right to choose. One suggestion is NARAL Pro -Choice America, they fight for abortion rights, access to birth control, family leave, and pregnancy discrimination for women professionals. They also fight misinformation traps online that can harm women looking for abortions.

Feeling at home in the mountains!

The weather was finally warm enough to walk outside barefoot in the grass. Felt good to do some much needed grounding, feeling the earth between my toes. 💚
Relocated some wildflowers in our yard and planted blueberry bushes. I can’t express how happy it made me to be out in the fresh air and sunshine.

Happy Earth Day.

A day to honor this magical place we call home. I am constantly in awe of her wonders.

I am grateful for the lessons nature teaches me everyday.
